Europe Trip~

Fufufufu... Did you think that I was going to say, "Sorry for not posting regularly! It is because (bla bla bla)"? (T▽T)

           Nope. You're wrong. I, Kaitalyn-sama, shall never apologise for committing a so-called crime!                (=`〜´=)

Wait, where was I before I went off-topic? Oh, right.

Well, during December, my family and I went on an overseas trip to Europe. It was... interesting... If you liked beautiful scenery, churches, museums and palaces. (^~^)  To me, Europe was an enchanting place with the romantic atmosphere though there was a miserable lack of couples. I would have loved to see silly, adorable couples holding hands while pretending to be shy. Sheesh. (¬д¬。)

Anyways, at the airport in Paris, I actually saw two ladies wearing Lolita outfits! One was wearing a Gothic Lolita dress while the other was dressed in Sweet Lolita style. They were so charming~           (♥ó㉨ò)ノ♡

(For your information, this is some pictures of the Paris Airport~)

At first, I was too embarrassed to ask them if I could take a photograph of them. I mean, they would most probably think 'This girl is weird. Why on earth does she want a photo of me?' and stare at me. 「(°ヘ°)

That's why I stalked them... Just kidding. I am not like Usui Takumi from Kaichou wa Maid-Sama. (`∀´)

After a while though, I teased my sister and asked her if she wanted to take a photograph with them. It backfired on me as my Dad had heard my comment and then asked me if I wanted to take a photograph of them.━Σ(゚Д゚|||)━ Damn.

And so, I ended up asking the Japanese girl dressed in Sweet Lolita style if I could take a photograph of her. (Her friend, the Gothic Lolita one, was making a phone call. -3- ) She stared at me blankly and blinked. Oh boy, those thoughts I had earlier before ran through my head...  ―(T_T)→

Suddenly, her other friend (who was not dressed in Lolita), talked to her in Japanese and asked her to stand up so I could take a photograph of her, I think. I gave them an awkward smile before taking a photograph and dashing off, sheepish, after muttering a "Thanks". (#/。\#)

Although I was pretty happy with the photograph, I was definitely pissed off... That embarrassment could have killed me! (x_x;)

Anyways, this is the かわいらし photograph...

She looks absolutely darling, no? After all, I went through so much of trouble to get the picture... Lol~(^v^)

Animals...

                                                            Bunnies...

What is it about this bouncy, furry species that suddenly makes me obsessed over them?               ( ?´_ゝ`)

Oh, and by the way, this is Kaitalyn.

You know, I have always thought of myself more as a 'cat person' than a 'dog person'. Cats choose who to like while dogs seem to like almost everybody. No offense to pet owners. (¬_¬)ノ

Anyways, a few days before, I typed the words "Amigurumi Bunnies" on the word search, Google, to find out why all the girls in my class were "Kyaa!"-ing over this fuzzy creatures. And guess what the word search produced? Tons, and I mean it, tons of adorable photographs of crocheted ウサギちゃん...。  ( )  ( )
(•^ . ^•)

I hate to admit this... But those annoyingly cute critters softened my (evil) heart... (´∀`)♡  You don't believe me?? LOOK at this pictures~

(This photographs are taken from various blogs...)

Hm.... I wonder.... What aspect of bunnies am I attracted to? Their fluffy coats, their squeezable ears or perhaps their vulnerableness that makes people want to protect them? I think it may be the last option. (`・ω・´)” Lol~

Also, I found this free pattern on how to make a かわいい pair of Amigurumi bunnies. Those interested may click here...

By the way, I am thinking of making some Amigurumi bunnies myself. Does anyone have any tips? I have just started learning how to crochet and if you do have some advice for a beginner like me, please post your comment. Thanks!  (ノ´▽`)ノ♪

Kaichou wa Maid Sama DVD

Hi people! This is Kameyo here! (○'ω'○) Guess what?

I have just bought the Kaichou wa Maid-Sama DVD! Yipppeeee!!!!   ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆   I bought it from The Anime House. I love it sooo much! Moe, Moe~ ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ Here are some pictures of the DVD.

The three best parts about the DVD is that it is in Japanese and not in dub, which doesn't sound like the real characters. Also, it has subtitles in English ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ ,Chinese and Malay which helps me a lot as I don't understand Japanese but I understand English. Moreover, the quality rocks! It is in HD! (doesn't say on cover)

By the way, what type of bag do you expect them to give you? A normal one?【・_・?】Nope! It is an Inuyasha paper bag! For Inuyasha fans, here's the pictures of the bag!

Oh, and sorry for not posting yesterday...(ノ´д`)I had homework to do... Like we, the Mochi Sisters have said, we will post as regularly as possible, like once every day or once every two days. Bye!          (*^▽^)/

Anime Festival Asia 2011

Hey, everyone. This is Kaitalyn again. ⊂(^(工)^)⊃

As a reward for those who were brave enough to read my previous post (or not), I shall post my review of the Anime Festival Asia 2011.

I made a trip to the Suntec City Convention in Singapore at the evening. For your information, this is my first time attending an anime festival of any sorts. Yes, hardcore otakus can "Boo!" me. (>_<)

The place was quite packed indeed. Thankfully though, the queues for the tickets were mercifully short. This is a photo of one of the tickets.

After purchasing the tickets (the cheapest one was $8 in Singapore currency), my sister and I rushed up the escalator to the convention halls. Our parents were amused but didn't say anything. To our delight and my parent's horror, we were greeted by a sea of cosplayers. They paid such attention to the detail of their costumes, right down to the finger tips. Here are some photographs that you can feast your eyes on~ (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

(Pardon the lousy quality... The lighting sucked in the place.) (#`д´)ノ

Anyways, although my sister and I were quite delighted, our excitement cooled down the moment we had to squeeze through the unpleasant crowd. People were so rude and just pushed and jostled their way through. Tsk, tsk. ☆⌒(>。≪)

When we finally managed to enter the halls where the anime festival was held, we emerged from a crowd... to enter a throng of people again... Frankly, it killed my happiness. They should seriously consider holding the anime festival in a bigger location that has good lighting.

Well, there were all kinds of booths. There were fortune-telling booths, goods-selling booths, figurine exhibits, maid/butler cafés and a card trading arena. Oh, and they were giving out free coffee. Yay. ヾ( ̄0 ̄; )ノ

By the way, here are some カワイイ videos of the cafés and if you are interested, I have provided some links to their websites too. ♡^▽^♡

                                                           Moe Moe Kyun Maid Café

                                                           Atelier Royale Butler Café

Moe Moe Kyun Maid Café Website

                                                          Atelier Royale Butler Café

Continuing on with my review, I bought an adorable bag and badge while my sister bought a pack of Fairy Tail Cards. I also took a brochure of the goodies available in one shop. And, another round of yummy pictures for you to enjoy! ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Well, after some shopping therapy, we were brimming with energy (I'm talking about my sister and I)! Muahahaha! Then, we went around, absorbing the sights and festive spirit~ (⌒▽⌒)☆

And throughout the trip, a question kept on lingering in my mind...

Why is the guys:girls ratio 3:1?!

I mean, half the time, I see guffawing guys instead of giggling girls. Don't tell me that this is because guys appreciate anime more than girls?? Or is it because too many guys like anime due to the (hentai and erotic content in it)? This shall be a puzzle for me and you to ponder on... ┐('~`;)┌

Overall, it was really fun though it was a disappointment to me in the beginning. I wished it was less crowded and that there were more activities held...

(Look! Even this couple looks wistful~)
